Accessing Trucking Regs Just Got Easier for Owner Operators and Motor Carriers
eRegs was featured in Truck Drivers USA, highlighting how the new app makes accessing Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations easier than ever for owner-operators and motor carriers.
Owner operators and motor carriers can now access the FMCSRs through the eRegs app, developed by transportation attorneys Brandon Wiseman and Jerad Childress in collaboration with Trucksafe consulting firm.
Replacing Outdated Methods
Wiseman emphasized the limitations of traditional methods: "For too long, carriers and drivers have purchased and relied on physical copies of the regulations, which do little to help them understand regulatory complexity."
Childress added that "many carriers are paying thousands of dollars each year to source and distribute physical regulatory pocketbooks to their drivers," which quickly become obsolete.
